Vancouver, Canada
I am speaking at a conference in Vancouver this week. I cease to be amazed about how positive Canadian people are and how much more positive they are than people generally in the UK. Why is this I ask? Is it because of the culture, you have to take more action to be a success? Is it because of the climate? Is it because most people have come from a different country within the last 3 / 4 genarations?
Who knows - what I do know is we in the UK have a lot too learn from the Canadians infectious positive attitude.

Care with your HANDSHAKE
Saturday morning and there is a bash on the door. There is an enthusiastic young man on the doorstep, asking me if I know about the council elections in May. He was good a bit over enthusiastic BUT there was one thing that let him down. HIS HANDSHAKE. He shook hands with me at the beginning and at the end, each time he did it, he gave me a dominant handshake. A handshake that says to anyone, below their level of awareness, I am more important than you. I mused after he left that perhaps I wouldn't want an arrogant local councillor, after all he was her representative. Make sure your handhake is firm, at around the same strength as the other person, palm to palm with your thumb pointing to the sky. Anne Milton, please note

The Magic of Thinking Big
This book is fantastic. It was 1st published in 1959, before NLP was even thought of - when it was just cognitive psychology. David Schwartz PhD the author was Professor at Georgia State University in Atlanta and he had studied the real guru's on personal development, Napoleon Hill, Dale Carnegie etc. You get what you think about is the simplest way to describe the content.
I bought the book a few years ago, however another copy was sent to me as pre course reading when I attended Marco Island University in January of this year. If you want a copy I have 3 free ones for th first 3 people to email me having seen this on my blog.
Think yourself to success - best wishes
if you want a free place on one of showcase seminars listed on my website - email me fast.
