School Performance

As part of our abundance programme I have been coaching a school headteacher today and she has been helping me. She runs a very professional school with 697 pupils - you get an immediate feel that is well organised, teachers are motivated and that she has total respect. Sue had been looking at our website under 1st Impressions - and had coached one of her teachers; who had gone for a job interview, on tip No 2 - under body language - the 1st 4 seconds. "Remember you don't have a second chance to make a 1st impression".

The second thing that impressed me was that they have introduced mindmapping into the school.
I am a great fan on mindmapping and always use a mind map for all my advanced negotiation workshops. The real secret of mindmapping is that it helps the recall in a stress, exam type of situation. For more information read any of the mindmapping books by Tony Buzan.

Finally on awaydays Sue has a very organised and disciplined structure to get the maximum sharing from all the teachers, a bit like a large mastermind group. If any teachers want further information send me an email.

Sue is already a very good presenter and at our next session we will be dealing with how to be an outstanding Presenter and Influencer. I am learning an enormous amount about how to run a great school from our discussions.
