SAD - Seasonal Affected Disorder
This is the most difficult time of the year for SAD. We have had several months of dark days. However recognising that most of us would prefer to hibernate and take it slower in the winter is half way to feeling better. Since Thomas Edison invented the electric light, we have been sleeping 2/3 hours less in the winter. Sometimes our bodies tell us this is not right and slow us down.
Make sure you get out into the lunchtime sun and daylight to get your dose of vitamins that daylight and sun gives you. Secondly get enough sleep and thirdly take exercise. The Spring is just round the corner.
