Always carry an ideas book

When I am coaching my clients on negotiation and all other high perforamance business skills, I give them a small notebook to write down their thoughts and ideas as they occur to them. This week Jeremy Wilson vice chairman of Barclays PLC and Chairman of Bloomsbury Publishing reminded me that he always carries my notebook and thanked me for the valuable advice I gave him 5 years ago.
